Precision Casting Process

There are two kinds of precision casting process technologies: lost wax precision casting and pressure forming precision casting technology.
Lost wax precision casting, now known as investment casting, is a precision casting process with little or no cutting. It is an excellent process technology in the precision casting industry and is widely used. It is not only suitable for precision casting of various types and various alloys, but also produces castings with higher dimensional accuracy and surface quality than other precision casting methods. Even other precision casting methods are difficult to cast, high temperature, and not easy to process. The castings can be cast by investment casting.
Pressure-regulating precision casting technology is a new casting technology invented mainly for the casting production problems of large and complex thin-walled components. The use of this technology to produce large complex thin-walled castings, can obtain better filling capacity and shrinkage capacity, so that the grain of the casting is refined, the density is improved, and the performance is obviously improved. With the continuous research and development of this technology, the application effect and scope of application of this technology have been continuously strengthened and broadened. At present, the pressure forming precision casting technology has been applied in the production of a large-scale complex thin-wall aluminum alloy castings of aviation, and the technical benefits are very obvious.
