ASTM A297 specification covers iron-chromium and iron-chromium-nickel alloy castings for heat-resistant service. A297 HH heat resistant steel casting is used to make furnace grates, heat exchanger tubes and burner nozzles. Oxidation resistance at 1400 - 1800 F (760-982 C ) maximum operating temperature 2000 F (1093 C).
